Wooden rattles - chews
Rattles and chews through the sense of touch, help the infant to develop the perception of his body, things and objects that surround him. The baby receives impressions from the world and thus acquires a perception of himself and his sense of "I" is strengthened.
One of the first games that babies played in ancient times was " the platagi ", a clay rattle , which they put in his hand and with the sound made by the little stones inside, they made him forget and stop crying.
